1. Who we are
TaqamHR provides HR, payroll and workforce-management software to businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This policy explains how we handle personal data, in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its regulations.
2. Our two roles
When a company uses TaqamHR to manage its workers, that company is the controller of its workers’ data and we process it on its instructions. For information you send us directly — for example through our contact form — we are the controller.
3. What we collect
Customer workspace data (worker records, documents, payroll and invoices) entered by our customers; account data for users (name, email, sign-in and security events); and enquiry data you send us (name, company, email, phone, message).
4. How we use it
To provide and secure the service, to process payroll and invoices on our customers’ instructions, to respond to enquiries, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer workspace data for advertising.
5. Sharing
Only with service providers that help us run the service (such as hosting), under contract and confidentiality, and with government systems (such as GOSI, Mudad or ZATCA) only when a customer switches on that connection. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
6. Security
Each workspace’s data is isolated at the database level, connections are encrypted, administrators use two-step sign-in, and changes are recorded in an audit trail.
7. Retention
Customer data is kept for as long as the customer’s subscription is active and then deleted or returned, except where Saudi law requires longer retention (for example payroll and tax records).
8. Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask to be informed, to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. If you are a worker of one of our customers, please contact your employer first; we will help them respond.
